Position Overview
Nestlé is seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Planning Expert to join our IT Hub in Bangalore. In this role, you will collaborate with global and local stakeholders to deploy advanced supply planning solutions, ensuring smooth operations and business alignment.
This position requires hands-on experience in supply chain planning, technical know-how, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in deploying the OMP (Operational Management Planning) solution across Nestlé Markets based on a global template, helping drive digital transformation in one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Role Functions
- Solution Deployment:
- Roll out the OMP Supply and Distribution Planning solution based on Nestlé’s Global Template.
- Translate market-specific requirements into harmonized system solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and address them through process or system changes.
- Technical Expertise:
- Manage master and transactional data integration for tools like SAP ECC, APO, and OMP.
- Resolve Level 3 (L3) tickets for SAP and OMP solutions.
- Conduct solution design, development coordination, and rigorous testing.
- Operational Support:
- Troubleshoot data processing failures and ensure effective resolutions.
- Communicate issues and resolutions clearly to end-users.
- Track tasks effectively and maintain transparent stakeholder communication.
- Change Management:
- Advocate and implement changes that align with Nestlé’s operational goals.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Are You a Fit?
To excel in this role, you need:
Experience
- 5–8 years in Supply Planning, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Hands-on experience in:
- OMP for Supply and Distribution Planning.
- Detailed Scheduling and Material Planning (MRP).
- SAP ECC Modules (MM, PP).
- Exposure to functional projects involving inventory optimization principles and data integration.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of tools like SAP ECC, APO, and OMP.
- Proficiency in data mining and visualization tools: Excel, Power BI, SQL.
- Added advantage: Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and operational expertise.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and drive initiatives.
- Solution-oriented mindset with critical thinking skills.
Methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management frameworks.
- Hands-on experience working directly with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements.
