Key Responsibilities

As an Android Developer at Adani Group, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of Android application development, including:

  1. Application Development:
    • Build and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
    • Develop scalable, efficient, and optimized Android apps with robust performance.
  2. Product Development:
    • Drive product ideation, design, prototyping, validation, launch, and production.
    • Successfully deliver multiple products to the market while adhering to timelines.
  3. Agile Development:
    • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure efficient and collaborative software development processes.
  4. Technical Implementation:
    • Utilize advanced Data Structures and Algorithms to create high-performance code.
    • Build, test, and maintain large-scale Android apps or codebases.
    • Develop and optimize public APIs and mobile SDKs for seamless user experiences.
  5. UI/UX Expertise:
    • Create highly responsive and smooth User Interfaces (UI).
    • Ensure app battery optimization and maintain fresh background data.
    • Adhere to Material Design guidelines and other design frameworks.
  6. Integration & Optimization:
    • Integrate cloud messaging APIs and enable push notifications.
    • Leverage Android SDK performance tools to enhance application performance.
  7. Frameworks & Tools:
    • Implement and work with Android Architecture components.
    • Use REST APIs for efficient data management and persistence.

Qualifications

Education

  • A B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering is mandatory for this role.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Android app development is required.

Technical Skills

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Programming Languages: Kotlin, Java
  • Frameworks and Tools: Android Framework, Android SDK, Material Design
  • Core Concepts: Data Structures and Algorithms, Android Architecture components
  • Integration Skills: REST APIs, Cloud Messaging APIs, Push Notifications
