About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join as a Fare Filing Distribution Executive. This role involves specialized tasks in fare management, leveraging expertise in the ATPCO system, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and travel-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fare Filing Distribution Executive, you will:

  1. Fare Management:
    • File and update fares in the ATPCO system based on provided information.
    • Ensure fare accuracy and maintain up-to-date data in alignment with client requirements.
  2. Rule Conditions Filing:
    • Update and file rule conditions such as:
      • Eligibility
      • Date/Time and Seasonality
      • Flight Application and Combinations
      • Advance Purchase and Negotiated Fares
      • Surcharges, Blackout Dates, Automated Changes, and Cancellations
      • Fare by Rule, Footnote, and Routing Map
  3. Special Fare Activities:
    • Manage specialized fare filing activities, including:
      • YQ/YR (Carrier-Imposed Charges)
      • Optional and Ancillary Services
      • Branded Fares
      • Chart 1 and Chart 2
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Perform quality assurance checks within major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
    • Identify and rectify inconsistencies in fare and rule data.
  5. Troubleshooting:
    • Conduct pricing and troubleshooting entries across GDS platforms like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre to ensure seamless operations.
  6. World Geography and Fare Construction Knowledge:
    • Utilize strong geographical knowledge to aid fare construction and analysis.
  7. Data Validation and Industry Updates:
    • Validate fare and rule data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in ATPCO procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Proficiency in travel portal systems and GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
  • Comprehensive understanding of world geography and fare construction principles.
